Long Weekend With Lots of Activities

Burton Mountain Festival starts on Saturday. Take advantage of this weekends festivities! The Burton Girls will be here, you can enjoy DJ’s, take your little ones through Riglet Park, enjoy on-snow demos from Burton and get in the mix with the contests to win free swag! …and then there’s always our mountain for you to ride of course. Three nights of night sessions start at Snow Summit tomorrow. Take your Bear lift ticket over to Summit between 3-9:30 for a low-cost upgrade and stay on the slopes even longer! It’s Going To Be A Long Weekend

Mid-air high five to the sky, it was a good day! Expect much of the same conditions tomorrow and remember to bring your sunglasses. It’ll cut down on the intense sunlight and improve contrast at the same time. You’ll see terrain without distortion. For some, mid-week is their favored time to ride. Less people means open trails and we’ll have more room on this big mountain. More room to hit 91 features, more room to carve nice wide turns and more room on the half pipe! Bear Is The Place To Learn

Did you know that Bear Mountain is home to the largest beginner area in Southern California? There is no better place to get your feet wet, as they say, in a new sport. Our Learn to Ski and Ride month promotion is on.  Purchase any Adult or Young Adult first time beginner-only learn to ski or snowboard package and receive free rental equipment. Riglet and all children’s programs will receive a $15 discount off of regular package price. Advance reservations required. Between both resorts we have 26 open runs, all lifts are available and more than 100 features, including our half pipe! []


Sunday In The Park Episode 1

Same time last year, we didn’t have conditions like we have now. The snow is literally the best it’s been in 2 years! The recent storm made it possible to have all 26 lifts available here and at our sister resort, Snow Summit. We Haven’t Stopped Making Real Snow

Another great day of fun in the sun! Your day session ticket may be done at Bear, but that doesn’t mean you need to stop riding. If you get over to our sister resort, Snow Summit, their night session goes till 9:30 pm. New Year’s Eve is just around the corner and so is our party. $20 admission includes a champagne toast, appetizers, a photo booth and more.
