Yesterday we sold out! A bunch of you got here early this morning and caught us in the act of making real snow. It started out as a frosty morning, but the sun is now out. We had a blast today making some turns! We were able to reopen Chair 9 for top to bottom terrain due to the almost foot of the fresh natural snow we received yesterday and also thanks to our world class snowmaking system! Tomorrow is on point to open more terrain as we have already kicked on the snow guns now that the temperatures are dropping! We are back, baby! Our base is back to 10-20″ of machine-groomed packed powder. We got 8-11″ fresh snow yesterday and have been making snow since last night. We even got 15 features built. You won’t find better conditions anywhere else in SoCal. Bear is now open for daily operations. Tomorrow we will be running Chairs 1, 9, AND 7. Keep an eye on our Facebook for updates. What a pleasant surprise this storm has brought! We’re now at 8-11 inches of natural snowfall and we’re ready to start snowmaking as soon as we get a chance! The snow started to fall from the sky this morning and is continuing to snow as the day continues… It’s panning out to be much more substantial of a storm than originally thought. We are expecting up to a foot of natural snow by tomorrow morning which is great news for all you boarders and skiers out there! You can expect conditions of fresh powder and packed powder and with the cold weather that is behind this storm you can also expect more snowmaking in the forecast.
