All around town Mother Nature is showing signs of fall coming to an end. The colorful trees are starting to loose their leaves, frost covers the ground most mornings and Snow Guns can be seen all over the slopes. Now all we need is some cold dry air and the snow making can begin! As we start making snow we will have a better estimate of when our opening day for the winter season will be. We were able to make more snow last night on Upper Park Run and we’re working on getting Chair 9 and upper mountain open as soon as possible! Enjoy another sunny park day today but get your layers ready because a series of storms is expected to roll in tomorrow. Track the weather HERE. If you’re planning on coming up this weekend, reservations are recommended. Purchase your lift tickets for December 15th and later at least one day in advance HERE.
This week’s weather is starting to hint towards winter, with cooler temps and a chance of SNOW on Friday! If the forecast holds true, we may even be able to start snowmaking this week! We still haven’t set an opening date, but continue to check back as temperatures drop and snowmaking begins for winter season info.
