With this weekend’s storm we received 2-4 inches of natural snow and cooler temps that have allowed us to begin making snow. Weather reports predict more snow showers throughout the week and we will continue to make snow as conditions permit. All we need is 1-2 more nights of good snowmaking weather and we will be able to open for the 2013-14 winter season. Weather this nice makes snowboarding feel unreal! That is why guys like JP Walker, Brandon Hobush, Scott Stevens, and Zak Hale love riding here! That’s right all of them and more are here right now. They are here filming for parts, getting lots of pictures, and most noticeable they are all having fun times in our park! We offer a park that feels like a playground to riders. Old Man Winter might be dropping in on Big Bear this week with a chance of snow today through Friday night. Skies are forecast to clear out by Saturday, providing excellent conditions for all you Weekend Warriors. Keep checking the forecast while you’re making plans to be here this weekend. We have a really fun park set-up right now! Chair 6 has all sorts of smaller boxes and rails including a mini Battleship flat bar as well as some fun snake lines and easier jumps. So far we have 3 to 4 inches of fresh snow and it’s still coming down. Snow flurries are forecasted through tonight so you can look forward to an amazing day on the mountain tomorrow too! Park Staff is keepin’ it fresh and adding new features everyday this week so you can look for something different each time you ride.
