More Snow Today!

So far we have 3 to 4 inches of fresh snow and it’s still coming down. Snow flurries are forecasted through tonight so you can look forward to an amazing day on the mountain tomorrow too! Park Staff is keepin’ it fresh and adding new features everyday this week so you can look for something different each time you ride. The latest additions include a 40-ft step-down at the bottom of 9, Gambler Jump, and a downhill C-rail with a new kink rail after. New Runs Opening Daily

We’re celebrating the first day of winter by opening new runs and another chairlift! Showtime is open today which can be accessed from Chair 9. Park Run is open top-to-bottom as well as Rips Run, Expressway, The Gulch, Hidden Valley and Central Park. Chair 2 opens today serving Amusement Park! Chairs 6 and 7 are open for beginners accessing Easy Street and Inspiration. The Park currently offers 41 terrain park features. Be a part of history as we unveil the revamped Red Bull Plaza today! Catch first chair at 8:30am and then meet at the top of Powder Bowl for the ribbon cutting ceremony. Then []


More New Terrain Open Today!

Bear Mountain and Snow Summit now have 13 available lifts! Our snowmakers have been doing work, and it’s paying off with new terrain opening nearly every day! Rips Run and Hidden Valley are now open, and Showtime and Amusement Park will be ready any day now. The fan guns have been on around the clock since Tuesday afternoon and we’ll keep them going as long as conditions permit. For a map of open runs click HERE. New Snow at Bear!

Yesterday’s storm dropped 2 inches of fresh snow and we’ve had excellent snowmaking since early last night. Today’s forecast is bluebird and we have a packed powder surface so be sure to get here early for the most fun! Chair 9 is open accessing Park Run top-to-bottom, Expressway and The Gulch, Chair 5 is open accessing Central Park, and the beginner lifts Chairs 6 and 7 are open accessing Easy Street and Inspiration.


Monday’s Outlook

Hope everyone had a great time this weekend at the Neff Beach Bash and Ashbury Demo! Today is going to be a warm one with an expected high of 66 degrees. This week’s weather goes all over the charts with spring t-shirt riding today, and cooler temps with possible snow coming mid-week. We will be operating Chair 9 with access to Park Run, the Halfpipe, and the Superpipe through this week. No other lift access will be available.
