We gained another 2-4 inches of snow last night and have continued to make snow while conditions permit. New forecasts show another storm rolling in on Thanksgiving that could potentially bring some more snow! Despite the recent snowfall and snowmaking we don’t have a set opening date yet. Always carry chains and drive carefully while winter weather is in effect.

All around town Mother Nature is showing signs of fall coming to an end. The colorful trees are starting to loose their leaves, frost covers the ground most mornings and Snow Guns can be seen all over the slopes. Now all we need is some cold dry air and the snow making can begin! As we start making snow we will have a better estimate of when our opening day for the winter season will be. That’s right snow! The first flurries of the season are here. Hopefully this is the first sign of a great winter.
It is officially the end of a great season again here at Bear Mountain. Huge thanks to all of our guests and employees for making it all possible. The park was top notch this season and the Red Bull Plaza received some major upgrades that made it a benchmark in street-inspired terrain parks. With so many big events highlighting the season its hard to talk about them all! Analog’s Design Unlikely Feature and Go Huck Yourself contests were a blast along with Volcom’s Peanut Butter & Rail Jam.
