It’s Still Learn to Ski and Ride Month

Bear Mountain has the largest beginner area in all of Southern California. Come learn in great snow conditions with the added advantage of midweek open slopes. Tomorrow we are setting up to have another “Bluebird” day with mild temperatures. Our base depth is 8-24″ and our feature count is up to 130. If you are a season pass holder your buddy can get 50% off a lift ticket through January 30th. Offer is available with the same restrictions as your season pass. We’ve Added More “Bear Built” Features

One more day of Burton Mountain Festival. We still have the miniature snowboard park set up for your kids and we have instructors that will bring delight to your kid’s day. After an interaction with our instructors, some kids actually take pics with them and they’re BFFs for the day. Just look for the Riglet Park in front of the Burton tents. Long Weekend With Lots of Activities

Burton Mountain Festival starts on Saturday. Take advantage of this weekends festivities! The Burton Girls will be here, you can enjoy DJ’s, take your little ones through Riglet Park, enjoy on-snow demos from Burton and get in the mix with the contests to win free swag! …and then there’s always our mountain for you to ride of course. Three nights of night sessions start at Snow Summit tomorrow. Take your Bear lift ticket over to Summit between 3-9:30 for a low-cost upgrade and stay on the slopes even longer! It’s Going To Be A Long Weekend

Mid-air high five to the sky, it was a good day! Expect much of the same conditions tomorrow and remember to bring your sunglasses. It’ll cut down on the intense sunlight and improve contrast at the same time. You’ll see terrain without distortion. For some, mid-week is their favored time to ride. Less people means open trails and we’ll have more room on this big mountain. More room to hit 91 features, more room to carve nice wide turns and more room on the half pipe!
