We are watching weather patterns very closely to see when we can start making snow and building a park! When the weather shows a sustainable cold weather streak we will be able to announce an opening date. Battle Of the Brands is a video voting contest held every year on snowboardermag.com, and this year team rider Scott Vine helped seal-the-deal for Arbor Snowboards. He Stomped the first ever One-Footed Double Back Flip to end the already awesome edit. BOTB is where industry brands attending the 2013 Super Park event make edits of their team. Snowboarder Magazine then creates a bracket and the edits go head to head with your voting picking who moves on. The competition was stiff this year with big teams bringing out big riders. Creating and designing the most innovative park is a year round job for our crew. The Feature Factory up and running right now, maintaining current features and designing even crazier things for next year! You may even recognize some features from Snowboarder Magazine’s “The Launch” featured in The Park! Pretty soon construction will be underway for the 10th annual Hot Dawgz and Handrails which promises to be larger and crazier than years past!
It is officially the end of a great season again here at Bear Mountain. Huge thanks to all of our guests and employees for making it all possible. The park was top notch this season and the Red Bull Plaza received some major upgrades that made it a benchmark in street-inspired terrain parks. With so many big events highlighting the season its hard to talk about them all!
