Not Another Mundane Munday – Bear Is Open Daily

Bear is finally open for daily operations, blow off Monday and come ride. Park Run Face and the beginner’s area just opened today. You’ll get to experience the fruit of the Park Staff’s labor, 21 “Bear Built” features and we’re working on more. Earlier today, a new feature called, “Flowmaster” was set up right at Marion’s Tree. This new “Bear Built” feature is shaped like a wide up-down box with a propane tank at the top. At Bear, we welcome all levels of riders to continue your growth in the sport. First Time This Season…Bear Ski and Snowboard School Opens

Yesterday we sold out! A bunch of you got here early this morning and caught us in the act of making real snow. It started out as a frosty morning, but the sun is now out. Great day to open the Bear Ski and Snowboard School for the first time this season. BAM! We are now offering Lessons with our professional instructors so you can improve your style on the slopes! The Freshies have arrived

We are back, baby! Our base is back to 10-20″ of machine-groomed packed powder. We got 8-11″ fresh snow yesterday and have been making snow since last night. We even got 15 features built. You won’t find better conditions anywhere else in SoCal. Bear is now open for daily operations. Tomorrow we will be running Chairs 1, 9, AND 7. Keep an eye on our Facebook for updates. Friday is coming soon. Are you ready? We’re scheduled to open Friday morning, so dust off your sticks and probably unflattering season pass photos. If you don’t follow our Instagram, give it a click. We have been working hard to make sure the terrain features are “Bear Built.”  Bear Mountain has the stand-out honor of being Southern California’s premier terrain park and we want to keep that going. “Winter is coming” is so much more than the motto of House Stark. The Clock is Ticking

We’re just a few hours away from returning to regular pricing for season passes. Don’t miss out! BUY NOW  Prices go up at midnight. Bear will be closed as planned tomorrow, BUT you can use your Bear Only passes at Summit for the rest of the week until we open for daily operations this Friday, Dec. 12. Summit will have skill-builder terrain on their Miracle Mile tomorrow. Bear and Summit have weathered the storm!
