Air + Style in the US for the First Time

Shaun White, born in San Diego, spent his formative years riding Bear Mountain. He was skiing until he followed in his older brother’s footsteps when White switched to snowboarding at age six, and a year later, he received his first sponsorship. White participated in three Winter Olympics so far. At both the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics, winning gold in the snowboard halfpipe event. He’s also participated in the Winter X Games, where he has won a medal every year since 2002. He’s also won in the Air & Style Contest in 2003 and 2004. Air + Style is on it’s []

One of the Best Rider in the World Came to Ride One of the Best Parks in the World

Shaun White is in the house. He’s riding one of the best parks in the world with the best snow in all of Southern California. There’s a higher standard in design and build when we call it “Bear Built” and that is why two time Olympic Gold Medalist Shaun White is back to riding his old stomping grounds. []

You’ll be mashing on a base depth of 8-24” with an extra 5” from the storm over the weekend. 140 “Bear Built” features will be reshaped []

USASA And X Games Slopestyle On The Same Day

Suited up in helmets and spine protectors, kids of all ages got into a friendly competition this morning for the USASA Slopestyle on Hidden Valley trail. Good thing the meeting place was at the Silver Mountain Eatery in the main lodge where the kids and their families gathered to grab some lunch just before the award ceremony.
