USASA And X Games Slopestyle On The Same Day

Suited up in helmets and spine protectors, kids of all ages got into a friendly competition this morning for the USASA Slopestyle on Hidden Valley trail. Competing in today’s event can build up quiet an appetite. Good thing the meeting place was at the Silver Mountain Eatery in the main lodge where the kids and their families gathered to grab some lunch just before the award ceremony. With each medal awarded, the cheering crowd that got up early this morning to participate in the event were in high spirit and then it was picture time. Moms and dads with their []

The Right Place Is Here, The Right Time Is Now

It’s not just about being in the right place at the right time, but knowing what to do when you find yourself there. We are experiencing some great conditions this season, meaning that this is the right place and the right time is now… We have the best snow in all of California. Last night was the fourth night in-a-row we were able to make real snow. Tomorrow you can expect freshly groomed packed powder. We are so stoked when we hear from professional riders that have been all over the world and when they get here, they tell us []

Prepare Yourselves for a Bluebird Weekend

We’ve added more “Bear Built” features. The total count is up to 130, including a half pipe and 3 quarter pipes. More jibs to hit and snow features to make you fly. Make sure your plans to ride []

It’s Going To Be A Long Weekend

Mid-air high five to the sky, it was a good day! Expect much of the same conditions tomorrow and remember to bring your sunglasses. It’ll cut down on the intense sunlight and improve contrast at the same time. You’ll see terrain without distortion. For some, mid-week is their favored time to ride. Less people means open trails and we’ll have more room on this big mountain. More room to hit 91 features, more room to carve nice wide turns and more room on the half pipe! Make your plans with your buddies now and buy your tickets. Burton Mountain Festival []
