The Stars Are Aligning for a Great Week of Riding

It was a great weekend of new snow, PBRJ competition, our first annual Powder Bowl, and a bluebird Super Bowl Sunday. Have a safe drive home and slower vehicles, please use the turnouts. It’ll be less stressful without a tailgater behind you. Monday will look much like today with mostly sunny skies and mild temps. First chair to take you to the top of the park or the beginner area starts at 8:30 am. Game Day at Bear Mountain

Our base depth is 8-24″ on top of that we received 5 inches of new snow in the last 48 hours. It’s going to be a Super Sunday! The competition that featured amateur riders took place earlier today at The Scene. As part of the North American tour, Volcom’s Peanut Butter and Rail Jam brought some friendly competition and great energy for a snowy Saturday on the mountain. Long Weekend With Lots of Activities

Burton Mountain Festival starts on Saturday. Take advantage of this weekends festivities! The Burton Girls will be here, you can enjoy DJ’s, take your little ones through Riglet Park, enjoy on-snow demos from Burton and get in the mix with the contests to win free swag! …and then there’s always our mountain for you to ride of course. Three nights of night sessions start at Snow Summit tomorrow. Take your Bear lift ticket over to Summit between 3-9:30 for a low-cost upgrade and stay on the slopes even longer!
