Tuesday Bear Stats

Here are today’s Bear Vitals: 8:00 am: Ticket windows and rental shops 8:30 am: Chairs 6, 7, 9 9:00 am: Chairs 2, 4, Moving Carpets 2, 3 9:30 am: Chair 1 Expect good to very good conditions on all open runs. We have a 12-26″ base of fresh machine-groomed snow. 35 jibs and 7 snow features, including a quarter pipe. It’s going to be a beautiful day for SoCal riding with sunny skies. The roads are open with no restrictions. If you don’t have NYE plans yet, we might have just the thing.


Good news, everyone!

Locally-produced Ben’s Weather is calling for snow this weekend! Should be a great kickoff to the weekend. Bear is still planning to open for daily operations on Friday, Dec. 12. Right now the plan is to have Chair 1 open to start, and more as conditions improve. In the meantime, use your Bear Only pass at Summit this week. We just confirmed that they brought 6 skill-builder features back to Miracle Mile. Mammoth Mountain got top-to-bottom open last weekend. Now is a great time to upgrade to the 4-resort Cali4nia Pass. It’s cool as ever at Bear Mountain

Those strong, hot winds you might be feeling? Not here! Bear Mountain has been downright frigid. Before the Santa Ana winds heat up the LA and Orange County areas, they start as cold air in the mountains. The cool dry air is perfect for snowmaking and we’re busy taking advantage of these great conditions.
