Air + Style in the US for the First Time

Shaun White, born in San Diego, spent his formative years riding Bear Mountain. He was skiing until he followed in his older brother’s footsteps when White switched to snowboarding at age six, and a year later, he received his first sponsorship. White participated in three Winter Olympics so far. At both the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics, winning gold in the snowboard halfpipe event. The Stars Are Aligning for a Great Week of Riding

It was a great weekend of new snow, PBRJ competition, our first annual Powder Bowl, and a bluebird Super Bowl Sunday. Have a safe drive home and slower vehicles, please use the turnouts. Game Day at Bear Mountain

The competition that featured amateur riders took place earlier today at The Scene. As part of the North American tour, Volcom’s Peanut Butter and Rail Jam brought some friendly competition and great energy for a snowy Saturday on the mountain.
