This is why we love SoCal; we had a wintery wonderland with nearly 3 feet of new snow last weekend and today we’re looking at 60 degrees and sunny! Big Bear weather keeps everyday fresh; knee deeps one day, and hoodies and sunglasses the next. Love it! Enjoy some the great spring time riding and get ready for Grenade Games 8 this weekend!!! All roads to Big Bear are open and clear. Lifts open at 9am and ticket windows open at 8:30am Monday-Friday. Lifts open at 8:30am and ticket windows at 8am Saturday and Sunday.

This weekend, March 24th and 25th, Bear Mountain will be hosting the eighth annual Grenade Games. Danny Kass and The Dingo are back again for some good ol’ fashion Bear Mountain fun. There will be some crazy snowboard contest, some seriously crazy parties, and some ultra crazy performances. Last year at The Games we saw The Game, Del, and Agent Orange and this year’s musical acts have just been announced. Check them out HERE! See you this weekend; it’s going to be wild and full of fun. We have another big one in store for you this weekend! You’ve had to hear about the War of Rails event that we’ve been hyping up… It’s Southern California’s biggest freestyle skiing event, and if you saw The Scene this morning, you can see why. The Am contest starts this afternoon around 12:30, and the big boy pros start putting on a show tomorrow at 11:30 am. Happy Sunday! We got a dusting of snow yesterday and the park is looking good. We’re looking at a high of 42 and partly sunny skies. We have the KCXX crew on the deck with tons of live entertainment.
