Game Day at Bear Mountain

Our base depth is 8-24″ on top of that we received 5 inches of new snow in the last 48 hours. It’s going to be a Super Sunday! The competition that featured amateur riders took place earlier today at The Scene. As part of the North American tour, Volcom’s Peanut Butter and Rail Jam brought some friendly competition and great energy for a snowy Saturday on the mountain. Chance of Snow Today

  We’ve been making real snow all night and there’s a 30% chance that mother nature might bless us with more snow this afternoon. It’s gonna be a good week for the white stuff. CalTrans reports significant delays and closures on Highway 18, so plan your drive accordingly. Always carry snow chains when traveling through mountain areas. Like they say in Cub Scouts, “Always be prepared.” Ticket windows and rentals shops open at 8:30 am. Lift operations will starts at 9 am. The recent storm added to the base, making it 10-20″. On The Bright Side

The sun is out this morning and skies are clearing. There is still a chance of some scattered showers and snow levels are forecast to drop so we could see a little fresh snow Sunday and Monday. Our park is still on point. We have down bars for days up top and our jump lines are still fun and poppy! Holidays are Here!

The Holidays are here! If you have some last minute shopping head over to the Ice Box where we have all sorts of gear and gift cards good at both mountains towards tickets, food & beverage, and even towards a season pass! We’ve been making snow at every opportunity and opening new runs on the reg. The park is stuffed with features for all skill levels! You’ll find some of the gnarliest park features in the Red Bull Plaza along with easier Skill Builder features on Amusement Park run. We have 5 new features in The Scene and Riglet Park []


New Runs Opening Daily

We’re celebrating the first day of winter by opening new runs and another chairlift! Showtime is open today which can be accessed from Chair 9. Park Run is open top-to-bottom as well as Rips Run, Expressway, The Gulch, Hidden Valley and Central Park. Chair 2 opens today serving Amusement Park! Chairs 6 and 7 are open for beginners accessing Easy Street and Inspiration. The Park currently offers 41 terrain park features. Be a part of history as we unveil the revamped Red Bull Plaza today!
