Sunny skies are in the forecast through the rest of the week and weekend with a high of 49 today! The park is on point and we have a mostly machine groomed packed powder surface today. Yesterday’s storm dropped 2 inches of fresh snow and we’ve had excellent snowmaking since early last night. Today’s forecast is bluebird and we have a packed powder surface so be sure to get here early for the most fun! Chair 9 is open accessing Park Run top-to-bottom, Expressway and The Gulch, Chair 5 is open accessing Central Park, and the beginner lifts Chairs 6 and 7 are open accessing Easy Street and Inspiration.
Old Man Winter could be making a comeback this week, with some good snowmaking weather and a chance of natural snow. If the forecast holds true, we could have Chair 9 open by this weekend! Let the weekend festivities begin! Today we have the Neff Beach Bash w/ HYPER CRUSH then tomorrow we have The Ashbury Demo. The snow coverage is very good on most of the runs and there are plenty of park features for all. We’ll be lapping under the SoCal sun and 63 degrees today, and tomorrow the high is 66! Nearly all runs are open through Easter then starting next Monday we expect to operate only Chair 9 through at least April 15th. Snow Summit is also expected to be open through at least the 15th!
