Have a Great New Year’s Eve!

What a way to bring in the new year! Our recent storm brought us close to a foot of new snow to our resorts. Thanks to the cold temperatures we have been able to make snow on Geronimo and our feature count is up to 76 including 3 – 1/4 pipes. If you are searching for New Year’s Eve plans on the hill, look no further! We are going to have an awesome party in the Board Room bar here at Bear Mountain. Tickets are only $20 dollars, and it will get you a champagne toast and free appetizers too! []

Get A Taste Of What’s To Come At The Plaza

Park Staff is on the job creating “Bear Built” features and the Red Bull Plaza is in the works!  To give you a little taste of what’s to come in the near future, we’ve set up 4 features in the Plaza: The Entrance, City Center, Creeper Wall and Kink Wall. A couple of these features were just introduced at Hot Dawgz & Hand Rails and now it’s your turn to hit them. Tomorrow morning, rentals and tickets will open at 7:30, and the first chairs start at 8:00. Expect *17 open runs and 10 lifts in operation. Night session goes from 3-9:30 tonight at []

Even More Features and Trails Open!!

In addition to Showtime and Hidden Valley, our snow makers got Badlands, Exhibition and Silver Connection open! Central Park has two new features and 2 new jibs AND there is a Step Up on Expressway. The snow forecast is looking better and better…some are even saying the snow could fall as low as the Inland Empire! 2014 is definitely going out with a bang!

New Trails Tomorrow!

Showtime and Hidden Valley are scheduled to open for business tomorrow, bringing our overall trail count up to 12! We’re still making snow and tonight’s super cold, dry weather means even more snow making! If you’ve been taking lessons at Bear, you can use your lift ticket over at Snow Summit and try your hand at one of their low intermediate or intermediate runs. The shuttles run every 30 minutes between the resorts, so there is no need to worry about parking. Not ready to throw in the towel yet? Snow Summit’s famous night sessions are going on all week from []

Features for Everybody

Here at Bear Mountain we take pride in our well diverse park. Of course we are home to top pros and have features like those seen in the Red Bull Plaza, but that’s not what we are all about. We may not all be Chris Bradshaw’s but we do all want that feeling. The feeling of trying something new and overcoming the fear of potential consequences. In our opinion, there is no better feeling in the world. Thanks to our Skill Builder Parks and entry level features beginners and intermediate riders are able to capture that indescribable feeling of conquering []
