Good news Boy Scouts! Mark your troop calendar… Scout Merit Badge Day is coming back to Bear Mountain Saturday, March 7, 2015. Discounted lift tickets, lessons, and rentals will give your Scouts the opportunity to join in, and demonstrate portions of skiing or snowboarding with our Snow Sports Merit Badge counselors. Parents and siblings are welcome to take advantage of the discounted rates. There is not a minimum requirement of participants to qualify for this event. If your troop or any members of your troop would like to join us, please email email@example.com. Reservations are required.

**Snow Summit will be closed for today due to wind and weather, Snow Summit will re-open tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. Bear Mountain is open today for normal business hours. “Winter Storm Watch in effect from February 28, 06:00 AM PST until March 2, 02:00 AM PST” – NOAA Looks like a bit of winter is heading our way for Friday and Saturday. We received 1-3 inches of snow last night! While this is not quite enough to open for the winter season its a sure sign of whats time come. The forecast shows highs in the mid-50′s and low-60′s so this winter weather won’t last but it sure is getting us excited for this upcoming season! Typically we open for skiing and snowboarding mid to late November.
