1-3 Inches of Snow Last Night

We received 1-3 inches of snow last night! While this is not quite enough to open for the winter season its a sure sign of whats time come. The forecast shows highs in the mid-50’s and low-60’s so this winter weather won’t last but it sure is getting us excited for this upcoming season!  Typically we open for skiing and snowboarding mid to late November.  This sure is a good reminder to get your equipment out of the closet and take it to you local ski or snowboard shop for a tune-up and wax before we open.  Reservations for the 2013-14 []


We’re 3rd in the Country!

TransWorld SNOWboarding Magazine recently released the highly anticipated results of its 2014 Resort Poll and we’re #3! Every year TransWorld asks their readers who their favorite park is and out of 140 parks, you voted us third on the coveted list of the top ten parks in the country. According to TransWorld, the survey consisted of 28 categories ranking snow quality, grooming, park layout, park creativity, staff, crowds, and more. “We call Bear Mountain the People’s Park.
