How is Bear different than any other resort you’ve ridden? – They really take care of their features; constantly grooming and making sure everything is perfect. They really care about the customers, and just want everyone to have fun snowboarding.
How does Bear Mountain help you progress? – Realistic features that translate to how things are in the street. The Scene you can hike and learn tricks, everything is set up well.
What do you do when you get off the mountain? – Play NHL 12

How does Bear Mountain help you progress? – I can hit more rails in one run than most people hit in whole season. That gets me fine tuned quick.
What do you do when you get off the mountain? – Skate the little park or hot tub at the Northwoods.

How is Bear different than any other resort you’ve ridden? – Thanks to California weather and a resort that’s mainly concentrated only for snowboarders… It’s pretty hard for anybody else to match what they have; so many features with great conditions!
How does Bear Mountain help you progress? – They keep surprising me always with new set ups and keep my board control and imagination on point.
What do you do when you get off the mountain? – Put on some sweats, get some chai tea, and enjoy the memories

Film Crew? – I don’t have a film crew to work with so I’ve been left to organize a lot of the film shoots I’m involved in. It works out great since I can invite any available friends who are just down to shred and it doesn’t matter what company they ride for

Shred crew? – Anyone who wants to take laps. I like riding with different people because it keeps variety in the mix and riding never feels like it gets old

Fav Bear Mtn Feature? – The 100 foot rail. For as frustrating as it can be, it is also just as rewarding to make it to the end

Role model? – My friends in the industry are my role models. I look up to a lot of riders for different aspects of the sport, like Bittner and Bradshaw for style, Koski for consistency, riders like Nick Poohachoff and Tim Humphreys for their good attitudes and motivation to go riding. More and more the list grows so to avoid just a long list of names I’ll stop there.
Fav video parts? – I liked a lot of the Robot Food films. Nick Visconti’s part in Ransack Rebellion was sick, Chad Otterstrom’s part in Video Gangs was something I used to watch a lot, and Lukas Huffman’s part in Shakedown was one of my all time favorite, just to name a few.

Motivation? – The rewarding feeling of landing a trick after spending hours working for it. Peace of mind.
What’s a day at Bear like for you? – I grew up riding Bear and Summit, I have lots of friends there and every time I go back that’s where I feel welcome like it’s home and I’m always stoked to ride with the good vibes there.
How is Bear different than any other resort you’ve ridden? – Bear is on point. Their park is constantly changing and it has always had a skate influenced in the park set-up, which allows for more creative riding. The park crew is always maintaining features and keeping them dialed throughout the day.
How does Bear Mountain help you progress? – The park crew has always been down to build specific features, and it’s been a great influence for trying new tricks.
What do you do when you get off the mountain? – I changed my entire season training program and quit things that I was wasting time with, like video games. Now when I’m done riding I like to network online, stretch, meditate, make music and keep track of snowboarding industry news.
Are you a partier? Could our fans catch you acting a fool at one of our local bars? – Not so much unless it’s for some type of celebration. I don’t like to go out and party anymore. I’m much more down to wake up at 6am to stretch, eat a good breakfast and chill before riding.
